HOW MANY TYPES OF FAE ARE THERE?

DO FAEFOLK LIVE ALL OVER THE WORLD, OR JUST CERTAIN AREAS?
They live all over the world, however they tend to live in 'fae hotspots' like Bellamy. As they prefer to be around their own kind.

DO ALL FAE HAVE POINTED EARS?
Yes, pointed ears are one distinct marker across all faefolk.

CAN FAEFOLK BE COMPELLED TO LIE?

No, trying to compel a fae to lie, would just cause them pain.

DO FAE EAT HUMAN FOOD?
Yes! Faefolk are gluttonous creatures, and rarely turn down a good meal. The sweeter the better.

DO FAEFOLK HAVE ACCESS TO MAGI SPELLS AND POTIONS?
Only in the presence of Magi. Though they are the embodiment of magic themselves, they can’t manipulate magic in the way a Magi can.

IS ANY TYPE OF FAE ACCEPTED?
For the most part, yes. As long as they're somewhat humanoid, bipedal beings. Tails are also acceptable.

CAN FAEFOLK SWITCH COURTS?
Yes, but it's frowned upon. When abandoning a court, expect backlash. They can also choose to serve neither court, but then must respect the authority of both.

HOW DO FAEFOLK AGE?
Slowly, time and aging work differently in their realm. Take the human lifespan, and add a 0 on the end to make the closest conversion.

WHAT AGE IS CONSIDERED ADULTHOOD FOR FAEFOLK?
Adulthood for fae is a minimum of 180 years old.

DO FAE HAVE THEIR OWN SYSTEM OF MONEY?
New faefolk to the realm, may not know of money at all. In their home world, they work purely off of the bartering system. Making deals.

WHO ARE THE FAE ROYALTY?
The current royalty of the fae realm is: Unseelie King Cillian & Queen Valeria and the Seelie King Lorcan & Queen Meave. The Wilde's rulers are in Bellamy as an extension of their rule.

Other worldly and bountiful in magic. The plants, animals, and basically everything there has its own source of power. The flora/fauna of the Fae Realm is peculiar and vivid in comparison to earths.

DO THE FAE HAVE 'NORMAL JOBS' IN THEIR WORLD?
In a way yes. Jobs and favors are needed to get by. If you're not contributing in some way, you're not going to very far.

WHEN DOES A FAE KNOW THEIR ELEMENT?
This is something they become aware of within their first century of life. How they become aware varies person to person. In tradition they have been known to hold elemental revealing events; where they try each element until one sprouts magic.

DOES GENETICS PLAY A ROLE IN ELEMENT?
Yes and no. Domain does change the options, but of the three available, it's completely random to the individual.

HOW DOES FAE FERTILITY WORK?
Because of how long it takes faefolk to age, a fae woman's age of fertility doesn't kick in until her 200s. Aside from this, conception remains a struggle throughout a faes lifespan, to keep their populations stable. It's unlikely to see a family of fae with more then two children.

WHAT IS HOMELIFE FOR A FAE LIKE?
This ranges family to family. Though generally, they're not raised as a human would be, or with as much stability. Fae from an early age are left to 'sink or swim', meaning their survival is very much upon themself.
