NOTE: The stars next to abilities, signify the energy/magic output needed. Beings can only use up to 10 stars a day, check your Alliances hierarchy to figure out your characters available usage. Going over usage takes the overflow amount, +2 penalty from the next day.

GENERAL ABILITIES

Voidsent Possession ★★★★★★★★★★

 To survive in the physical world, a voidsent will have to possess a body. You cannot change vessels unless the human soul inside is dead, as the human soul remains connected with the vessel even while the Voidsent is in possession of the mortal body. Once a Voidsent takes over a body, their magic is spent for the next 2 RP days. 

(You cannot claim to be any God/Deity or possess the body of any real life person. If a human soul, for some reason, is able to reject the Voidsent then the Voidsent will be left in the mortal world. If they do not find a vessel to inhabit they will fade into non-existence.)

 

Semi Possession ★★★★★★ (requires OOC consent)

Splits the voidsents spiritual form in half, leaving their vessel's body in a coma-like state, while their conscious half invades the mind of another. Influencing how they act and feel.

 

Levitation ★★

Voidsents are able to fly or levitate. For dramatic effect wings may erupt from their host body. These wings are not corporeal but a manifestation; an extension of their spiritual form.

 

Kinetic Powers 

Pyrokinesis

A Voidsent’s main ability is to generate and control fire. However, this fire is different in color than normal. Fire harnessed by a Voidsent is blue in color and is also known as Voidfire.

Flame Creation ★★★★

Summoning fire, from magic alone.

Flame Manipulation ★★★

Manipulating an already existing fire.

Engulfment â˜…★★★★

Setting a certain target completely ablaze, engulfed by flame.

Etc.

Abilities not listed yet, are allowed but must be submitted to the admin staff for an appropriate star/energy rating.

 

Electrokinesis★★★

Voidsents are able to manipulate and hack into electronic equipment, and frequencies. They can also use pre-existent electric currents to their disposal.

Telekinesis ★★+ (Bigger objects take more energy, please be realistic or ask a admin if you’re unsure)

The power to move, manipulate or otherwise interact with objects/matter without physical means.

 

Healing  ★★★★★ 

Voidsents are able to heal their host body from minor sustained injury. However, If the host body is damaged enough, it can, and will die like any other human. Dire medical attention for the vessel may be sought out and treated at the hospital.

 

Séance Sight ☆

The ability to see and interact with those on the spiritual plane. Aside from spotting another Voidsent easily, it’s second nature for Voidsents to see those that others can not. To the point it’s tricky to tell the difference from those who are truly there, and those who aren’t. Spirits on the other plane rarely have much to say, or energy to fully get their message across.

Spirit Form ★★★★★ (Consent must be given, if used for spying.)

The Voidsent can temporarily leave its host, leaving the vessel's body in a coma-like state. During this time the Voidsent takes on their true spirit form. Moving in this mostly transparent state creates a blur, but moving with care can sometimes go unnoticed. During this time Voidsents are not corporeal beings, making them able to move through walls but not interact with their surroundings.

 

Smoke Shroud ★★★

Voidsents are able to cloak the host body in smoke, and travel small distances this way. Speed is increased in this form, but to do this is extremely taxing on the Voidsent themselves. Abusing this power can lead to unconsciousness.

Haunt ★★★★

Voidsents possess the ability to haunt others through touch. This consists of heightening a persons fears or anxieties, and causing the haunted general discomfort when they're around. When haunting, Voidsents can project themselves into their preys consciousness allowing the pair to speak telepathically. This lasts until the haunted person washes off any ectoplasm trace by means of holy water.

WEaknesses

Voidsent Trap 

A trap that can bind, imprison, and overpower a Voidsents power. These traps can be made by a Fae or Magi, but set out by anyone.

 

Holy Water 

Any and every Voidsent is susceptible to Holy Water. When contact is made, it burns the skin. The longer contact is held, the more damage it will do. Burns caused by Holy Water take longer to heal.

 

Rock Salt 

Voidsent can be trapped by a circle of rock salt. They are not able to cross it, but can still use their kinetic powers. If a Voidsent makes contact with the salt, the host body’s flesh will immediately burn. The burn is similar to a severe chemical burn.

(Table salt, or salt cooked into a meal has no effect.)

 

Electromagnetic Interference

When in close proximity to electronic devices, Voidsents cause interference signifying their presence. 

 

Mortal Vessel

Voidsents themselves never physically tire, nor require sustenance to live. (Food, water, oxygen, etc) However, to keep their vessel alive and healthy, they must learn to go through the motions. If their vessel is mortally wounded, they are left without one and have 48hrs to either return to their own realm or find a new host.
